Training

So I have given my notice to Paul because I got the job at Galaxyland and started my training... I will be working straight until Dec 15 except for Dec 12th... this is going to be a killer... but on the plus side training was fun learned how to run the flying galleon and the carosell... when I game my notice to paul he said that he wasn't surprised... that he had noticed that I hated my job and that I've been getting alot of abuse... I will miss working for him but a girl has got to move on... now on to mom... I had to tell her that I may have to work over christmas and oh boy did I get an earful... its not like I planned this. So I told her that I would try my hardest to get it off...

News today that I care about

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NEW YORK -- Elliot Welles, a Holocaust survivor who found the officer who ordered his mother's death and turned that personal triumph into a relentless crusade to track down fugitive Nazis, has died. He was 79.

Welles died of an apparent heart attack at his Bronx home last Tuesday, his son, Mark Welles, of Roslyn, N.Y. said yesterday.

Welles retired in 2003 after more than 20 years as head of the B'nai Brith Anti-Defamation League's Nazi-hunting operations.

Finding ex-Nazis who had eluded postwar justice "was an overriding passion in his life," his son said.

Born Kurt Sauerquell in Vienna, Austria, on Sept. 18, 1927, Elliot Welles was among Jews rounded up early in the war and deported to Latvia.
